Subscriber Tags in the API

Tag subscribers, filter your list by tag, and see how many subscribers have each tag, all through the API.

Subscriber tags now work through the API. Your code or AI agent can tag people as they sign up or qualify, and you can then send a broadcast to just that tag.

  • Tag subscribers. PUT /api/v1/waitlist/{key}/subscribers/{id-or-email} now takes add_tags, remove_tags, or tags (replaces the whole set). Use a tag's name or ID. A new name creates the tag.
  • Filter by tag. Add ?tag=beta to List Subscribers to get only the subscribers with that tag.
  • Tags on subscribers. Get Subscriber and List Subscribers now return each subscriber's tags, with their id, name, and color.
  • List your tags. The new GET /api/v1/waitlist/{key}/tags returns every tag and how many subscribers have it.

Like the other subscriber endpoints, tags in the API need the Growth or Business plan. Changing a tag's color and deleting a tag stay in the dashboard.
