In Waitlister: go to your waitlist dashboard, click the 'Referral Program' value on the overview card, toggle it to Enabled, set your point values (signup, referral, social), and click Update. That's it — every subscriber now gets a unique referral link. The referral link is automatically shown on the thank-you page with social sharing buttons. You can also include it in email broadcasts using the template variable.

Customize it through data attributes: show top 3 to 20 entries, rank by points or referrals, and style with CSS.

The thank-you page supports 7 sharing platforms: X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Telegram, and email. You toggle which ones to show in the thank-you page editor. Each button pre-fills a share message with the subscriber's unique referral link. The subscriber just clicks and posts — no manual copy-paste needed.

Yes. On the Growth plan ($39/mo), webhooks fire when a referral is completed (only for credited referrals — fraud-blocked ones are silently skipped). The API lets you read subscriber points, referral counts, and positions, plus award custom points for any action. This lets you build custom reward flows — unlock features, send gift cards, trigger Slack notifications — on top of Waitlister's built-in system.
