FAQ

Common questions

About Waitlister coming soon pages

Waitlister includes everything you need in one place: landing page builder, forms, email automation, referral programs, and analytics. On other platforms, you'd need to integrate multiple tools (email platform, referral app, analytics) and manage them separately. With Waitlister, setup takes under 10 minutes and everything works together automatically.
Yes. The free plan includes 100 subscribers, landing page builder, embeddable forms, basic analytics, and subscriber management. You can validate your idea completely free. Upgrade to paid plans when you need more subscribers, automated emails, referral programs, or custom domains. No credit card required to start. See pricing details.
New sign ups will not be blocked even if you reach the limit. You can upgrade to the Launch plan to continue collecting subscribers.
No. Waitlister is completely no-code. The landing page and form builders use drag-and-drop interfaces. If you use the embedded form, you'll need to paste two pieces of code into your website, but no coding knowledge is required. Most users are up and running in under 10 minutes.
Yes, on Growth plan and higher. You can connect up to 3 custom domains on Growth plan, unlimited on Business plan. This lets you use domains like launch.yourproduct.com instead of waitlister.me/p/yourname. Custom domains look more professional and build trust. See our custom domain guide.
Enable referral programs on Launch plan and higher. When someone signs up, they get a unique referral link on the thank-you page. When others join using their link, they earn points. You set the rewards (early access, discounts, features). Waitlister tracks everything automatically. Read our referral program guide.
Yes, on all plans. Export your full subscriber list as CSV anytime from the Subscribers page. This includes emails, names, phone numbers, custom fields, signup dates, and referral data. You own your data and can move it to any email platform or CRM. See subscriber management guide.
No. Waitlister includes email functionality on paid plans (welcome emails and broadcasts). For basic needs, this is enough. For advanced email marketing (complex automations, sophisticated segmentation), you can integrate with Mailchimp, ConvertKit, or others via webhooks or API. Many users start with built-in emails and add external platforms later.
Basic analytics on all plans show subscriber growth, total signups, and basic metrics. Growth plan (and higher plans) adds advanced analytics with conversion rates, traffic sources, referral performance, and conversion tracking.
Yes! Many successful launches do this. Use the Waitlister landing page for social media links and paid ads, and embed the form on your main website. Both feed into the same subscriber list and share all features (emails, referrals, analytics). This gives you flexibility in how you collect signups.
Share your landing page URL on social media, add it to your email signature, run targeted ads, share in relevant communities like Product Hunt and Indie Hackers, embed the form on your website, and enable the referral program to encourage viral sharing. Study successful launches in our case studies for proven strategies.
After launching, use Waitlister to send launch announcements via email broadcasts, convert your waitlist page to a "we're live" announcement, redirect your URL to your main product, or keep it active for collecting signups for future features. You can also export all subscriber data to import into your CRM or email platform..
