How to integrate
Follow these Wix-specific instructions
Install the Waitlister app
Visit the Waitlister listing on the Wix App Market and click Add to Site. Or, in the Wix Editor, go to App Market → search for "Waitlister" → click Add to Site.

Get your waitlist key
Log into your Waitlister dashboard → go to Overview → copy your waitlist key.
New to Waitlister? Create your first waitlist (takes 30 seconds).
Your waitlist key format: wl_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxAdd the widget to your page
After installing, the Waitlister widget becomes available in your Wix Editor. Drag it onto any page where you want the waitlist form to appear. Click the widget → open Settings → paste your waitlist key.
Customize your form
Configure your form fields and button style in the Waitlister form editor on your dashboard. Changes sync to your Wix site automatically.
Go to Form → Editor to customize colors, typography, button styles, spacing, and layout.
Whitelist your domain
In your Waitlister dashboard → Configure → Whitelisted domains → add your Wix domains:
Default Wix domain: username.wixsite.com
Custom domain: yourdomain.comPublish and test
Click Publish in the Wix Editor → test the form on your live site → submit a test signup → verify it appears in your Waitlister dashboard.
All signups will automatically flow into your dashboard with full analytics.
Common issues & solutions
Quick fixes for Wix-specific problems
Search for "Waitlister" in the Wix App Market. If it doesn't appear in search, visit the listing directly at wix.com/app-market/web-solution/waitlister and click Add to Site.
After installing the app, you need to manually add the widget to your page. In the Wix Editor, look for the Waitlister widget in your elements or app widgets. Drag it onto the canvas and configure it with your waitlist key in the widget's Settings.
Verify two things: (1) Your waitlist key is correct — copy it directly from your Waitlister dashboard. (2) Your domain is whitelisted in Waitlister under Configure → Whitelisted domains. Add your Wix domain (e.g., username.wixsite.com) and custom domain if applicable.
Switch to the mobile editor in Wix (click the mobile icon at the top) and adjust the widget's position and size for mobile. For the form action method, make sure your inline styles use width: 100% on inputs so they scale properly on smaller screens.
For the form action method: verify your form action URL is exactly https://waitlister.me/s/YOUR_WAITLIST_KEY with your actual key. Make sure the method is set to POST. Also check that your domain is whitelisted in Waitlister settings.
Select the HTML embed element in the Wix Editor and drag its handles to resize. Make sure the element is tall enough to display all form fields. Typical heights: 150px for email-only forms, 250px for email + name, 350px+ for forms with additional fields.
After connecting a custom domain in Wix, add the exact domain to Waitlister's whitelist (Configure → Whitelisted domains). Use the naked domain (e.g., yourdomain.com) without https:// or trailing slashes.
Configure your redirect URL in your Waitlister dashboard under Configure → Thank You Page settings. You can set a custom thank-you page URL or show an inline success message.
Make sure you click Save or Apply after entering your waitlist key in the widget settings. If changes still aren't persisting, try removing the widget and adding it again. Then re-enter your waitlist key.
Waitlister has built-in spam prevention that's active by default. For stronger protection, enable double opt-in in your Waitlister settings — subscribers must confirm their email before being added. You can also set up domain whitelisting to block submissions from unauthorized sources.
If you've migrated your Wix site to a new domain, update the whitelisted domains in your Waitlister dashboard. Remove the old domain and add the new one under Configure → Whitelisted domains.
The Waitlister app supports translation of all site-facing content. Configure form text, placeholders, and button labels in your Waitlister dashboard (Form → Editor). Set them to any language — Waitlister supports 30+ languages.
